Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Adult Hockey League League Begins September 7, 2010
Skatetown's adult hockey league season will consist of 27 games (2 pre-season, 23 regular season, and 2 playoff games).
Full equipment is required, including HECC approved helmet with shield and mouth guard (face shield optional for Gold B and Gold A leagues, but highly recommended).
All players must be 18 years of age. Days of Play:
* Due to certain leagues increasing in size, an additional day of play may be needed. League Fees: Players looking for teams will be placed on a Free Agent List and will be contacted by individual team captains. Team fees will be $9,525. No late team fees will be accepted. There are NO REFUNDS. Teams paying a team fee can roster up to 18 skaters and a goalie. Only 15 skaters are permitted on the bench during a game. Each team is required to submit a roster, including player numbers, with their team fee. Only names on that roster will be put on the game score sheet. Only players on the game score sheet may participate in the game. Team fees must be paid by August 22, 2010. If fees are not satisfied by this date, the team will default to an individual per player fee. Captains will need to turn in complete packets including full payment by 8/22/10 to Hockey Director.
Individual fees will be $635. Registration will open on August 23, 2010. There is no pro-rating of league fees. Individuals paying in full can register online at www.skatetown.biz. Individual fee payment plan option: $20 handling fee added. To qualify for this payment plan, player agrees to play the entire season and pay the entire league fee. A credit card, with valid expiration date and the cardholder’s signature, authorizing Skatetown to charge the account for the payments when due, is required. There is no pro-rating of league fees. $655 total cost; with $325 down; $110 due 11/1/10; $110 due 12/1/10; $110 due 1/1/11.Jerseys: Cost of team jerseys is not included in the league fees. Each team will need to play with a team set of matching jerseys, with numbers. Any player without a matching jersey or number will be excused from the ice. Both light and dark jerseys are required. Rosters: Teams paying a team fee can roster up to 18 skaters and a goalie. Only 15 players are permitted on the bench for any game. Teams paying on an individual fee basis can have a maximum of 15 players plus a goalie. League management may place players on teams that pay on an individual basis until maximum number players is achieved. Rosters must be submitted on August 22, 2010. Rosters must include player’s name and number. Players on roster must be registered and paid to appear on the score sheet. Rosters will be frozen after the 16th game on December 21, 2010. Evaluation: There will be no evaluation day or draft, unless absolutely necessary. Based on experience, players will be placed at the proper level of play. Management will scout teams the first two preseason games. Based on management's assessment, players and teams will be matched up with other players and teams of equal ability to ensure a fun and challenging experience.
